“ And now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, honor, and glorify the King of Heaven. Everything he does is right and just, and he can humble anyone who acts proudly.” (Daniel 4:37 GNT)
Our Father Humbles anyone who is proud. For example: King Nebuchadnezzar was a very proud kind who gave himself credit for things instead of exalting the Lord and giving Him all the credit. One day Nebuchadnezzar had a dream about a tree being cut down and the only thing left of it was the stump. Daniel, whom God gave the ability to interpret dreams, interpreted the dream to the king and told him if he doesn’t give praises to the Most High, the Lord will strip him out of his power and he will live wildly and eat grass in the wilderness for 7 years until he acknowledges the Lord.
When the 7 years passed King Nebuchadnezzar looked up to the sky and glorified our Father in Heaven. God gave him back his power and throne. This goes to show if we disobey God He will always find a way to humble us back to Him. Sometimes we praise ourselves or others and fail to realize that we can’t do anything without the help of God and Jesus. They give us the strength to do anything. They are the giver of blessings and anything we get is because they have put it in motion. Therefore, let’s always remember to remain humble just as they give it they can take it because of our disobedience.
