Trials Build Strength

5 So don’t feel sorry for yourselves. Or have you forgotten how good parents treat children, and that God regards you as his children? My dear child, don’t shrug off God’s discipline, but don’t be crushed by it either. 6 It’s the child he loves that he disciplines; the child he embraces, he also corrects. 7 God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out. He’s treating you as dear children. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; it’s training. (Hebrews 12:5-7 MSG Bible)

We go through all these trials and tribulations to strengthen us and build us up. Our Father in Heaven is disciplining us so we can be more like Him and less like the world. We are His children and He only wants the best for us, just like we would want good things for our kids. Sometimes we can be so into the worldly things that we forget what our Father can do. We can get so caught up on these things like the news, social media, politics and more. These worldly things that are not helping our mental health in no way.

God is trying to draw the world closer to Him, Jesus and The Bible. Everything going on is crazy however we have to stay grounded and keep our eyes on Jesus. All these distractions are happening so it could bring confusion to the people. People are people but our Father ruler of everything can do anything. Therefore, why not put your trust on Him? God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we may ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)
