Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. (Psalms 34:19 KJV) Through our walk in this life with Christ we will face many trials and tribulations because of our love for Jesus. As we get closer to Jesus the more the enemy attacks. The enemy is after those who are after God. If you are not pursuing God then the enemy has no reason to pursue you. Also, as we progress to different levels the attacks get stronger. However, nothing is too big or too small for our God. Our Father in Heaven and Jesus are always there to fight every battle for us and win them. They can send their angels to fight our opposition in the spiritual realm. There is way more of us in the light than those that are in the dark.
For in the spiritual world God has already won the battle and the enemy has been defeated. We just have to armor ourselves with the whole armor of God. 14 “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” (Ephesians 6:14-18 KJV)
