18 “Jesus asked, “What is the Kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it with? 19 It is like this. A man takes a mustard seed and plants it in his field. The plant grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make their nests in its branches.” (Luke 13:18-19 GNT) Heaven is big. God, Jesus and their angels are numerous. There is room for us all. God wants us all to make it to Heaven. All of God’s children have a home in Heaven waiting on them. We can’t even start to imagine how beautiful Heaven is. Although it may seem far away I know that day shall come to pass when everything has been made new.
Therefore, “Then Jesus said to the disciples, “And so I tell you not to worry about the food you need to stay alive or about the clothes you need for your body.” (Luke 12:22 GNT) Worrying doesn’t fix anything it just adds more stress. God and Jesus already know the way so why don’t we just follow them. I know when I tried doing things my way things didn’t work out. Yet, with Jesus everything will always be okay. We should live each day in the present and focus on the joy. It’s not always easy but there’s always something to be thankful and grateful for. Things will always come to try to steal your joy but we are the captains of our own boats.
We’re not perfect and God knows that. He provided the sacrifice that will save us (Jesus). Sometimes we mess up or want to give up but we have to keep going. Remember to always repent for your wrongdoings to keep in mind Jesus already won our battles when He died on that cross. Our Father is an awesome God and He is filled with love, mercy, everlasting peace and more. “The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins.” (2 Peter 3:9 GNT)
