34 “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35 GNT)
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of things about how we need to be loving one another. This indeed is exactly what Jesus wants us to do. Sometimes we can get so caught up with the troubles life brings that in the process we forget to love. Some people turn cold and some persevere. What is your response? Do you fight or take flight? When we choose to fight we defeat the enemy. However, choosing to flee doesn’t resolve anything; it just piles up the chaos. The greatest commandment is love. Loving each other is loving Christ. For we are like Christ and Christ is the image of our Father. Therefore, when we choose to Love we are choosing to walk in righteousness. If we are righteous in the eyes of Jesus than we are His disciples.
