“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV) Peace is God. There’s nothing that can ever compare to the peace Jesus can bring us if we just let Him. Understand, Jesus is a gentleman and He will never force Himself upon us. Rather contrary, He waits for us with His unfailing love, mercy and compassion. Yes, we will face many trials and tribulations because of our love for Christ. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:8 NKJV) At some point we have to realize no matter what we go through in the end God and Jesus will always be there to rescue us. No matter how hard your storm is right now or if it is light. Jesus takes both and works His miracles. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Psalms 34:19 NKJV)
