Why God?

These are some questions I’ve thought about and I know I’m not the only one: If God is all loving, why is there so much suffering? Why do we have to work so hard to obtain the blessings that have already been ordained for us before the foundation of the world? Why does suffering have to be the proof that we are with Jesus? I know as a parent I wouldn’t want my children to suffer. So, if God is our Father why do we His children have to go through such trials, tribulations and persecution?

And this is the revelation I’ve received: First, there is a difference between suffering and lessons. Sometimes we may experience lessons that are so painful that we may mistake it as suffering. In reality, lessons come to help us grow as people. For example a break up, financial problems, etc are lessons so we can be better and learn things. For example: A break up comes because something isn’t right; either we need to mature, change our type or it comes to help us realize God wasn’t in the relationship.

Moving forward, suffering is a different matter. God and Jesus want to give us all the blessings they have for us but Satan doesn’t want us to have them. For instance, we see the world is in chaos right now. It’s just not in one place… things everywhere are out of control. COVID, weather disasters, etc. You have to look at things spiritually in order to understand what’s really going on. We are in a spiritual battle right now in which Satan is trying to cause as much destruction to gain territory.

The Taliban taking over Afghanistan’s is deeper than what the eyes see. Physically we see bad people taking over a country and causing suffering and destruction. You may ask Why would God allow that, right? However, looking at it spiritually you can see that Satan is using these men to afflict pain & gain territory. God cannot physically come into this world and intervene because He doesn’t have a physical body. Therefore, He would be breaking His law and as you know God is not a man that should lie. (Numbers 23:19)

God doesn’t own a physical body and Jesus no longer has a physical body. They are spirits and that is why they gave us the Holy Spirit. Our physical bodies are what makes us legal in this world. Why do you think in Genesis 1:26 KJV “ God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

Humans have dominion over the whole earth and the thing that gives us a legal ground on this earth is our bodies. When we die we no longer have a body just a spirit so we no longer have a legal right to be in this world. “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” (‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭9:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬) This is why we have the choice as humans to either be used by God or Satan.

Why do you think we can only receive God through His Holy Spirit? And why do you think Satan sends his demons? God needs our permission in order to give us His spirit and come into our bodies. Satan also needs our permission to send his demons and devils to possess us. My point is they both don’t have a physical body and need our bodies to be legal in this world and we choose who we want to be led by. The world doesn’t have to be in so much chaos if we let God and Jesus in. But the world prefers evil more than the good.

Yet, in the end God uses the suffering and the lessons to glorify Him. What the enemy meant for evil God will always turn around for good. (Genesis 50:20) God gave us authority in this world. Some of us don’t ever run to God unless we have gone through things such as suffering, trials, challenges, etc. God doesn’t want suffering nor wants to see His children in pain. However, the choices humans have made ever since the beginning of the world is what has led all these things to come about. God already had a plan but we humans thought we could come up with a better one.
