Put On Your Armor Everyday

Our battles will never be against other people but against the spirits operating in other people. We are not only fighting satan, we are also fighting his foolish minions. We can’t take this offense and defense lightly because satan is always working overtime to get us to turn away from our purpose or worse, to turn away from Jesus. “Offense” being the aggressor. Always be one step ahead of the evil one push, the boundaries, be disruptive, and be bold. Yet, Satan has no mercy and plays to destroy, so have no mercy on him and his crew. & when he tries you first, you bring your defense to whatever he brings to you. “Defense” the act or action of defending something or someone. Defend and guard your mind, heart, emotions, purpose, family, etc. Don’t let fear paralyze you because Jesus has already given us everything we need to defeat our foes. There is no if, when, maybe, or but’s. In Jesus we will always have victory because He has already won every battle for us. Jesus gave us spiritual armor, so we can be prepared and always be victorious in our battles against the enemy. We have a helmet, breastplate, shield, sword, belt (band) and some shoes to put on. Therefore, rise up and use your authority, in Christ Jesus.

12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.”

13 “Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].”

14 “So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist

and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart),”

15 “and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news].”

16 “Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

17 “And take the helmet of salvation,

and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.”

(Ephesians 6:12-17 AMP)
