Forgiving

“Do not judge others, and God will not judge you; do not condemn others, and God will not condemn you; forgive others, and God will forgive you.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:37‬ ‭GNT‬‬) First of all, I had to learn to forgive people who were never sorry. If you ask me that right there is strength in having the courage to forgive someone who has never apologized. For example, I forgive my dad even though he was not needed because my mom made sure me and my siblings were always good. He got deported when I was a baby for selling drugs. It was not his choice to get deported but he made a choice. He never wrote or called, so I don’t know anything of him. I wish him the best and that all is well. It’s not about me forgiving him, it’s about having peace so I can be forgiven also. When I forgive others, Jesus forgives me for my sins. You know the saying by Confucius “Don’t do to others what you would not like done to you?” … yeah well we all should live by this in life. Life is a full circle and whatever sin you commit on this earth we will pay for before we die. God sees it all, and He is the only Judge.
