A Season For Everything

“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.” (‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) If you don’t know your season take a moment to ask Jesus. We are in the last days and He is pouring out his spirit amongst all His people. Jesus is revealing to us many things whether through dreams, visions, other people, etc. He’s revealing what’s going to happen to this world. He’s revealing what blessings He has in store for us on this planet. He’s revealing it all to His people but we have to be in one accord with Jesus to be able to hear Him. There’s a time and place for everything.

The time is coming when all of God’s children will be able to live peacefully and happy in all the glory that our Father has stored up for us in Heaven. In the meantime Dad has work to do on this earth to prepare His people for what is coming. Before the green pastures come the pastures have to die first. Look at the seasons and how they change. There’s Fall where the leaves on the trees fall and die. Winter is where it is stormy and the trees bear no fruit. Moving forward, springtime is when the trees and flowers start bearing fruit again. However, by the summer mostly everything is back in full circle and the trees have blossomed with their leaves and the flowers look beautiful in all their fullness.

Just like the trees, the leaves and the flowers have their season we have many seasons we have to go through also. If you think about it we are like flowers. God plants us and when we are ready in Christ we get to eventually bloom. We have a season where things have to die in us and around us just like fall. Then there is a season of waiting where you bear no fruit but are being prepared. There’s a season to blossom and start springing up just like springtime. Furthermore, we have a season where we need to be walking in all of our fullness and get to reap everything we sow just like summer. In conclusion to all of this we need to know what season we are in so we can do what God wants us to do. What season are you in?
