The enemy has no new tricks. However, the devil cannot create anything because only God is the creator. If you notice, satan throws the same things our way to try to get to us but masquerades it differently so we can think it’s new. I’m so tired of him and I know I can’t be the only one. He is not even scary because as a child of God, satan has to get through Jesus to get to us. This thing we call the devil is not necessarily after us but after our possessions. We cannot start to imagine all the things God has in store for us. God has land, houses, cars, financial stability with our name on it, books, podcasts, etc all for us here on earth. However, some never get to see all of that because the enemy deceives people. God’s word states “my people are destroyed due to lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)
First, the enemy can’t touch us without asking God for permission. Moving forward, if God doesn’t give him permission the only other way he can get us is if we let him. If we don’t understand the laws of God and let ignorance take over the enemy can get authority over us because even the devil and his demons know the Laws of God. But let me tell you how if we “resist the devil he will flee from us” (James 4:7) On the other hand God has given us authority over the enemy. “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. (Luke 10:19) The authority we have is Jesus and the Word (Bible and scriptures). We have the power to use Jesus’s name and the enemy and his army will flee because they fear our Lord and savior.
