“But the scripture says that the whole world is under the power of sin; and so the gift which is promised on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ is given to those who believe.” (Galatians 3:22 GNT)
This is the devils world and we are just living in it. Now what you choose to believe in is what will determine your fate. Obeying the rules and laws of this world is not what saves us but our faith in Jesus Christ. When you get saved you come to know Jesus by believing that He is the son of God that died for our sins. Doing what is right is not enough for God. It all starts with our faith in Jesus. Our mission in this world is to proclaim the goodness of our Lord and savior. Sometimes we can get consumed by the world even after we get saved trying to fit in. However, we need to understand when we are chosen by Jesus we are set apart from the world. We can’t do what everyone else does. Neither can we make it just by obeying the earthly laws that are set upon us. “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9) The world is constantly in a spiritual battle and only Jesus can save us. Faith without action is dead yet faith is the gateway to get us to Jesus.
