One thing about our God is that He gave us free will. Life is all about choices and the good thing is that we get to choose what choices to make. We choose who we want to worship. We choose whether we eat healthy or unhealthy. We choose our careers. We choose our jobs. We choose who we marry and so much more. Contrary to this, the downfall is that we risk making the wrong choices. This can only happen when we do not acknowledge God before making our choices. His word states “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6 NKJV)
We are supposed to include God in everything we do no matter how big or small it may seem because our Father knows what is best for us. You might say “If God is giving us the choice, do we really have free will?” And the answer is yes because we choose whether we want to obey Him or to do what we want and fulfill our fleshly desires and passions. However, our ways are not His ways and what may seem right to us is actually totally wrong. “What you think is the right road may lead to death.” (Proverbs 14:12 GNT) In this world, the choices we make will either bring life to us (from God or death (from the adversary: Satan).
I’m not just talking about physical death, this can also be spiritual death. Every decision we make falls into two categories; it either comes from God or satan. And like I mentioned previously the good thing is that we have the power to choose. Yet, the biggest decision we will ever make in this lifetime is who we will follow. Will we worship the one and only true living God (Yahweh) and accept His son Jesus (Yeshua), or will we choose these other gods (which come from satan). Now my questions to you are, Will you choose life or death? God or satan? “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV)
