When God starts to elevate you there will be a lot of haters and jealous spirits. Unfortunately, it is inevitable the good thing is that if people are jealous or hating that means that you are doing something right. But the truth of the matter is that your own enemies will be your family members. “and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’” (Matthew 10:36 NKJV) Don’t be surprised when the people you love do not really feel the same about you. It may hurt at first but remember it is their loss not yours. You’re the daughter/son of the King and it’s a privilege to be in your life. In Jesus you can find everything you need; a mother, a father, a friend, husband, wife, etc.
Some family members will be mad it’s you because they never saw it coming. The very people that said you will never amount to anything are the very people that will be mad when God shows them you’re His chosen one. Out of my whole family I’m the first one to follow Jesus and I’m breaking the generational curses and that will just bother some people. Again, they’ll be mad because it’s YOU and not them. They don’t understand why God is doing these things for us and not them. When in fact we can all win. In reality, they should be mad at their own life choices because they chose the outcome of their life.
I chose Jesus and when you choose Jesus people will be mad. If they persecuted Jesus when He was on this earth, what can we expect to be done to us? The sad part is that these family members would go to the extreme and try to do witchcraft on you because they can’t physically stop you. It can be your own mom, cousins, aunts, etc. But our God is greater and He will always reveal these things. Not so we can be afraid but so we can distance ourselves and treat people accordingly. Be selective with who you give your time to and be alert because in this season God will be revealing people’s true intentions.
Remember whoever messes with us messes with Him. “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (I Peter 3:12 NKJV) Pray for those that persecute you and forgive them. Truth is it’s not them but the spirits controlling them. Don’t worry about who is against you because God is always for us and that is the only thing that matters. In due time God will vindicate you and God will do to them way worse than what we could ever do. So, keep shining and let your light shine so bright that there will be no doubt Jesus is with you.
